As a premier Tableau partner, we’re proud to see that Tableau is a leader for the fifth consecutive year in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms*. And once again this year, Gartner has positioned Tableau as highest in ability to execute. In fact, we’re so excited, we created a Tableau dashboard to visualize the results.
Explore the dashboard to see how vendors have performed since 2010. You’ll see why Gartner has dubbed Tableau “the gold standard” in the 2017 Gartner Magic Quadrant for BI and Analytics Report.
*The Gartner Magic Quadrant for Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms is published by Gartner Inc., a global authority in information technology. The report is based on detailed questionnaires from actual BI users and contains reviews of all vendors. Gartner rates vendors upon two criteria: completeness of vision and ability to execute. There are four quadrants:
Leaders: score higher on both criteria, the ability to execute and completeness of vision. These are typically larger, more mature businesses.
Challengers: score higher on the ability to execute and lower on the completeness of vision. Typically larger, settled businesses with what Gartner claims to be minimal future plans for that industry.
Visionaries: score lower on the ability to execute and higher on the completeness of vision. Typically smaller companies.
Niche players score lower on both criteria, the ability to execute and completeness of vision. Typically these are new additions to the Magic Quadrant.
